This photograph by Oleg Kosirev is entitled Sphere of Her Wishes. It is the most tasteful, yet most arousing nude photograph I have ever seen. The model’s name is unknown, but she is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. I normally don’t display nude pictures on my blog. But it would be selfish of me not to share this one.

It takes real talent to turn out an excellent photo such as this. There is “artistic nude” and then there is just plain raunchy trash. This is the former.
I heartily agree, Abby! And I wish there were more people who realized that. Americans, in particular, are so hung-up about nudity. On American television, nudity is censored–yet graphic sexual behavior and language is not. The nude form itself, male or female, is beautiful and natural. But the mass media takes the nude form, and manipulates it in such a way that it can appear ugly and unnatural.
HA! You might want to warn a person with a NSFW for those of us not viewing from home. LoL
Didn’t mean to embarrass you, Heather.
the red lipstick in an otherwise black and white photo ‘makes’ this pic for me
I agree – she is beautiful
thanks for sharing
My pleasure, Duncan!
I am far from an expert on this type of art, but definitely agree, this displays the beautiful side of nudity.
Thank you, Terri!
Sigh… Once upon a time I looked like this. It’s kind of scary what birthing children does to a woman.
Sherri–I just looked at your photograph, and I think you still look like that! Keep in mind that no one ever looks as good as in a photograph, especially an art photograph such as that one. She’s wearing quite a bit of makeup, and the lighting and ambiance of the photograph make her look more beautiful than she is. And of course, we know nothing of her personality–and that makes a big difference too.
Not embarassed, I’m at WORK. The guys can’t even have bikini calendars in their cubicles here, can you imagine how much trouble I’d get into viewing nudes on the company laptop no matter how tasteful? Hahaha!
Ah, I see! Sounds like a repressive workplace! If they want to make it “gender neutral”–they could allow the girls to have beefcake calendars in their cubicles, so the guys could have cheesecake calendars!
A beautiful model indeed!
