It’s best to do the right thing for the right reason.  But it’s better to do the right thing for the wrong reason, than the wrong thing for the right reason.

      As with most of my “Insight-Outsight” posts, I am somewhat ambivalent about this one too! Looking at it as objectively as possible, I’m not certain I’m right! But I question everything–I’ve always been this way! As you can imagine, my questioning has really annoyed alot of people–especially family members, teachers, and employers!

      But I believe everyone should question everything, to be truly open-minded! Alot of people think “open-minded” is synonymous with “liberal”. But I’ve found this to be untrue. In fact, I’ve encountered far more closed-minded “liberals” than closed-minded “conservatives”!

      To be truly open-minded, I feel that one should consider every viewpoint (“liberal”, “conservative”, or otherwise), before he/she can know what he/she believes.

      And from your comment, you seem to be an open-minded person!
