    Solitude’s lure is undeniable to natural introverts as myself (and too, I suspect, the creator of a blog called “SOLOsocial”)… Yet we need interaction with others, mankind being a communal species (this contrary truth being grasped, I suspect, by the creator of a blog called “soloSOCIAL”)… The timeless problem of course is how to resolve the lure of solitude with our need for social interaction.

    I love James Joyce’s formulation which I believe sums up this issue elegantly: Man is eccentric, and society concentric, therein lies the eternal struggle.

    One thing is certain: we must interact! As Hemingway said, “A man alone ain’t got no chance.” This blog points in the right direction.
