FROM THE BOQ: BUSINESS, POLITICS AND ETHICS #70

Another question from Gregory Stock’s book is this:

If you had two choices–paying for a poor, unwed teenager’s abortion, or paying fifty times more to support and educate her child–which would you do?

I would pay fifty times more to support and educate her child.

What if, as a nation, we faced that same choice for one million babies a year?

We would be ethically obligated to pay fifty times more to support and educate those children.
