FROM THE BOQ: BUSINESS, POLITICS AND ETHICS #87

Another question from Gregory Stock’s book is this:

Do you behave as a “good citizen,” even when you know your small action will make no real difference–for example, do you ever pick up other people’s litter?

Yes, I do.

I learned many valuable things at Mobile Christian School–one of which was this simple statement:

Do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.

    Also relevant to this subject:

My paternal grandmother often stated something she had learned from her maternal grandmother: “If it’s going to be, it’s up to me.”

And Gandhi said this: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
