Another question from Gregory Stock’s book is this:
If you knew that famine and disease brought about by overpopulation would claim a quarter of the babies born in this decade, how much of the defense budget would you divert to programs to reduce the birth rate? Assume there is no other source of money.
If any of the programs promoted abortion, in any way–I would not divert any money from the defense budget toward them.
If none of the programs promoted abortion, in any way, but promoted sex education and contraception instead–I would divert twenty-five percent of the money from the defense budget toward them.
