Another question from Gregory Stock’s book is this:
Where you work, money is being collected for a lavish retirement party for someone you strongly dislike; you, of course, are expected to contribute your share. How large a contribution request would it take to make you protest or refuse?
Because this person would be retiring, I’d never have to deal with him or her again.
With that in mind, no amount would be too large–provided of course that everyone else contributed the same.
