BECAUSE YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED

My father’s face got very serious—somber.

“Scott, do you know how Black people got here?”

No, I didn’t.

“They were brought here as slaves.”

I don’t remember what prompted him to ask me this question at the dinner table.

Maybe it was because of “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids”, one of my favorite Saturday-morning cartoons.

Maybe it was because of that Black man from Africa, a guest of the Bedfords through their Baptist church, who had shaken hands with me.

Maybe it was because of Reginald Cooper, one of the few Black students at Mobile Christian School.

Maybe it was because of that Black boy at Dodge Elementary School who had spit on my face just because I was White.

Maybe it was even because of a joke about Blacks that one of my White classmates had told me.

It didn’t really matter.

My father began the dialogue with me about slavery.

My father had that talk with me.

In subsequent years, my father proudly told me about his great grandfathers and great-great uncle who were Confederate soldiers—how they bravely fought to protect their homes and families from the invading Union army.

And in subsequent years, I learned in school how the “Civil War” was really an economic and territorial conflict between an agricultural region and an industrial one.

What questions do you ask your children at the dinner table?

What talks do you have with them?

You can’t talk with them about the “Civil War”, because you’re allowing state and local politicians to censor your flags representing the Confederate side in that war—without your consent.

You can’t talk with them about the “Civil War”, because you’re allowing state and local politicians to destroy your monuments representing the Confederate side in that war—without your consent.

So what talks do you have with your children?

Oh, that’s right—you don’t have talks with your children, do you?

You don’t discuss anything with your children, do you?

No, you’ve got your heads up your apps at the dinner table.

And your children have their heads up their apps at the dinner table—because you just gave your children smartphones for Christmas.

You were old enough to know what was good for you, and what wasn’t.  But you purchased smartphones anyway, and quickly became addicted to them—quickly let them take over your lives.

Now you’ve just given smartphones to your children—who were too young to know what was good for them, and what wasn’t.  Now your children will quickly become addicted to their smartphones—quickly let them take over their lives.

We hate your guts.

We who have chosen to limit the Digital-Age technology in our lives—who have chosen not to get cellphones or smartphones, or to open Facebook or Twitter accounts, in the first place.

We who still use the greatest research tool ever developed, the Internet, for research—not just entertainment.

But you don’t have guts, do you?

No, you don’t have the guts to contact state and local politicians who are censoring your historical flags, and destroying your historical monuments, without your consent, and simply remind them that those historical flags and historical monuments belong to you—not to them.

You don’t even have the guts to add your signatures to mine, on two petitions that I have started—two petitions concerning your First-Amendment right to freedom of speech.

You take your constitutional rights for granted.

You take your prosperity for granted.

You take your country for granted.

You take your communities for granted.

You take your families for granted.

You take everything for granted.

You take everyone for granted.

Because you just won’t get your heads out of your apps.

If you think I’m trying to make you feel ashamed of yourselves, you’re right.

Because you should be ashamed.

FOR BETTER OR WORSE

For better or worse, these flags are ours.

For better or worse, these flags belong to us—the Southern American people of all races and ethnicities.

No region of the United States has any flags that represent its people—apart from the people of all other regions of the United States—except the Southern United States.

Because the Southern region of the United States is the only region that has ever seceded from the United States.

We, the people of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas—and even Missouri, Kentucky, and Maryland, to some extent—share a unique history and culture.

White supremacists have misused our Confederate flags—but our Confederate flags are not to blame for their misuse, and neither are we.

Segregationist politicians have misused our Confederate flags—but our Confederate flags are not to blame for their misuse, and neither are we.

We are tired of being shamed by our fellow Americans of other regions of the United States for our unique history and culture.

We are tired of being shamed by our fellow Americans of other regions of the United States for our Confederate flags.

And we are especially tired of being abused by Democratic and Republican state and local politicians.

We are especially tired of having our Confederate flags censored by Democratic and Republican state and local politicians—without our consent.

We, the Southern American people of all races and ethnicities, resolve to no longer allow our fellow Americans of other regions of the United States to shame us for our unique history and culture.

And we, the Southern American people of all races and ethnicities, resolve to no longer allow Democratic or Republican state or local politicians to censor our Confederate flags—without our consent.

Because our Confederate flags belong to all of us—the Southern American people of all races and ethnicities—for better or worse.

HAPPY 78th, DAD! (REPOSTED IN REMEMBRANCE)

I just sent my dad a card–his birthday is March 4.  I must admit I remember his birthday most easily, because it’s in the same month as mine.  He grew up in a totally different era than I–he was born in 1933, the worst year of the Great Depression, the year Hitler became Chancellor of Germany, and the year King Kong was released (no pun intended) in theaters.  And though he was born in Rochester, New York, he was raised here in Pensacola (as was my mom, whom he met in high school).  He lived through the Second World War, and voluntarily served in the Korean War, in the Air Force.  Eventually he and my mom moved to Mobile, where he worked as an electrician, and later an instrumental technician, for about 40 years.  Ironically, he and my mom still live in Mobile, while I live in Pensacola (it’s like we’ve switched places)!

I was born in 1966, so as you can imagine, we disagree on alot of things!  But there are many things we share:  We both enjoy Western classical music (particularly that of the Romantic Period and the Twentieth Century), as well as folk music (especially Irish folk and bluegrass); we both enjoy deer hunting and freshwater fishing; we both need female companionship, and are especially attracted to voluptuous women; we both oppose the institution of gambling casinos and state lotteries, as well as the legalization of unnecessary abortion; we both support the death penalty, for violent crime, as well as the conservation of Earth’s natural resources; we both believe in fairness, and in true equality for all people; we both like cherry cake and pumpkin pie; we both love life, and have a strong survival instinct!

Just a few years ago, I would have never written anything like this–I would have focused on the differences between my dad and me, even the things for which I resented him.  And there are times I dislike him.  But I always love him.  After all, he is a part of me!

THE POSTHUMOUS EXTERMINATION OF THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA HAS BEEN FORETOLD IN THE PAST—AND IT’S UP TO YOU TO STOP IT IN THE PRESENT

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered.  And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute.  History has stopped.  Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

“I know you’re a strong supporter of the Second Amendment–is there anything about this situation that makes you think, ‘Okay, should we rethink–is it time for some kind of change?'”
“ANY TIME THERE IS A TRAUMATIC SITUATION, PEOPLE WANT SOMETHING TO BLAME–THEY ALWAYS WANT SOMETHING TO GO AFTER…”

“THE HATE-FILLED MURDERER WHO MASSACRED OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHARLESTON [SOUTH CAROLINA] HAS A SICK AND TWISTED VIEW OF [THE CONFEDERATE FLAG THAT FLIES ON THE STATEHOUSE GROUNDS IN COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA]”
“TODAY WE ARE HERE…TO SAY IT’S TIME TO MOVE THE FLAG…”

“I UNDERSTAND THE [FIRST CONFEDERATE] FLAGS ARE DOWN, BUT I WANT TO MAKE IT PERMANENT. I DON’T WANT ANY CHANCE OF THOSE FLAGS GOING BACK UP.”

SOMETHING WE CAN ALL AGREE ON

Public officials have no right to censor their constituents’ historical flags, or their constituents’ historical monuments, without their constituents’ consent.

YOU DECIDE

“We were blessed to celebrate my Dad’s 84th birthday. He is the one who taught me strength with grace. He always preached the importance of being honest, showing respect, and seeing the best in people. #Blessed”

The Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley posted this on Friday, December 22, 2017—the same day my father died, at age 84.

Mr. Carl Otto Vogel—my best friend ever, the most positive influence in my life, and the godliest man I’ve ever known—also died at age 84, in 1984.

I have no respect for the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley’s father—this man knows how evil his daughter, Nimrata, is, yet he simply encourages her in her evil pursuits.  After all, he showed up at her confirmation hearing before the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations—hand-holding her, in order to protect her from any questions about her political past.

Mr. Randhawa is obviously a wealthy man with a powerful daughter—and he seems to have no moral dissonance about either his wealth or her power.  In other words, Mr. Randhawa seems as devoid of a conscience as his diabolical daughter.  He seems to be the kind of immigrant who comes to the United States for no other reason than to exploit the United States—and raise a daughter to likewise exploit the United States.

This is something Mr. Vogel, an immigrant from Germany, never did—in fact, Mr. Vogel gave more to the United States than he took from it.

And this is something my father, Louis Mayo, would never have done—I can fairly say he gave more to the United States than he took from it.

But let’s pretend that Mr. Randhawa is as honorable a man as Mr. Vogel was—or as my father was.

What if Mr. Randhawa had taught his daughter, Nimrata, the importance of being honest, showing respect, and seeing the best in people?

Would you say that Nimrata Randhawa—known now as Nikki R. Haley—had heeded her father’s teachings?

Does Nikki R. Haley choose to be honest, to show respect, and to see the best in people?

“At the UN we’re always asked to do more & give more. So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American ppl, abt where to locate OUR embassy, we don’t expect those we’ve helped to target us. On Thurs there’ll be a vote criticizing our choice. The US will be taking names.”

Does Nikki R. Haley choose to be honest, to show respect, and to see the best in people?

“[Nikki Haley] is one of the savviest, most cunning and cutthroat political operators we’ve ever seen.”  —Bakari Sellers

Or does she choose to be dishonest, to show disrespect, and to see the worst in people—and to bring out the worst in people?

You decide.

GOD KNOWS THE TRUTH—BUT WAITS

My father, Louis Hampton Mayo, has just died.

On Sunday, April 10, 2016, my sisters, Elaine Elizabeth Mayo Pool and Catherine Cecilia Mayo Wright, and my brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Clentis Pool and Thomas Grady Wright, set out to turn my father and mother against me.

They never contacted me about my blog—they never even let me know they knew I had a blog.

Instead, they called my father—who did not even know what a blog was—and they lied to him about the purpose and tone of my blog.  Taking tiny details I had written on my blog about my late brother, Michael Robert Mayo, my mother, Doraine Louise Pyle Mayo, and my father, Louis Hampton Mayo—completely out of context and proportion.

In doing this, my sisters and brothers-in-law persuaded my father that I, his only living son, kept a blog whose sole purpose was to expose, embarrass, and humiliate my family before the entire world—when, in reality, I rarely wrote about my family on my blog.

When my father confronted me about this on that day, April 10, 2016, I said, “Dad, I was going to tell you about my blog.  But I was going to wait until you asked me about it.  Let me give you the website, and you can see for yourself what my blog is about.”

My father said, “No, I don’t want to look at it.”

And my sisters, Elaine Pool and Catherine Wright, and my brothers-in-law, Jeff Pool and Thomas Wright, knew that my father would refuse to see my blog.  They knew he would refuse to see any evidence that they would tell him such a vicious lie about their only living brother, and only living brother-in-law.

And my father and mother have completely distrusted, shunned, ostracized, disenfranchised, disliked, avoided, ignored, condemned, and disowned me ever since that day, April 10, 2016.

Ever since that day, April 10, 2016, my father and mother have taken my sisters’ and brothers-in-law’s word for everything—and my word for nothing.

All because of a vicious lie my sisters and brothers-in-law told my father about me on April 10, 2016—that I kept a blog whose sole purpose was to expose, embarrass, and humiliate my family before the entire world.

Ever since that day, I have told my sisters, at least, that they need to tell my father the truth about what they did on April 10, 2016—and why they did it.

And they never have—and now my father is dead.

And now my father will go to his grave having taken his daughters’ and sons-in-law’s word for everything—and his only living son’s word for nothing.

Now my father will go to his grave believing that his daughters and sons-in-law were completely good—and that his only living son was completely evil.

If only my father would have visited my blog that day, April 10, 2016—as I asked him to do—this would not have happened this way.

But far more importantly—and fairly—if my sisters, Elaine Pool and Catherine Wright, and my brothers-in-law, Jeff Pool and Thomas Wright, would not have set out to turn my father and mother against me on April 10, 2016, with a vicious lie about the purpose and tone of my blog—thereby about me—this would not have happened this way.

God sees the truth, but waits.

God knows the truth—but waits.

THE DISHONORABLE NIKKI R. HALEY DOES NOT SPEAK FOR AMERICA

“RT @USUN: ‘America will put our embassy in #Jerusalem…No vote in the United Nations will make any difference on that.  But this vote will make a difference on how Americans look at the @UN, and on how we look at countries who disrespect us in the UN.'”

The Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley is the United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

Yet she acts as if she’s the modern state of Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations.

And she speaks as if she speaks for America—when she obviously speaks for the modern state of Israel instead.

We Americans have no say in the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley’s traitorous words or actions.

Because we Americans had no say in the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley’s appointment to a presidential cabinet position.

And we Americans are sick and tired of this diabolical politician pretending to represent us—while representing the modern state of Israel instead.

The Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley is a Zionist traitor.

And the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley does not speak for America.

HOW AND WHY ZIONISM IS NAZISM

The reason Zionist Jews have the same ideology and agenda that Nazi Germans had is that Nazi Germans borrowed their ideology and agenda from Zionist Jews, in the first place.

IF YOU LOVE AMERICA—PROVE IT

“Referencing tomorrow’s UN vote criticizing the US embassy move. In the words of the President, ‘Let them vote against us, we’ll save a lot.'”

So which one is the President?

Who’s directing whom?

If you voted for Donald Trump last year, why is the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley telling your president what to do?

I have contacted your president nine times now—why haven’t you even contacted him once?

I have started a petition to your president to remove the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley from his cabinet—and signed it—why haven’t you added your signature to mine?

Tomorrow’s UN vote is not a vote against the United States.

Tomorrow’s UN vote is a vote against the genocidal policies of the modern state of Israel.

Is your allegiance to the United States—or to the modern state of Israel?

The Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley’s allegiance is to the modern state of Israel.

Your president’s allegiance is to the modern state of Israel too—at least as long as he keeps the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley in his cabinet.

And what your president is saying is only half true—none of the money the United States saves after tomorrow’s UN vote will go to you—all of it will go to the modern state of Israel.

President Trump: Remove the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley from your cabinet immediately, so you can immediately restore some honor to your cabinet.

If you love your country, the United States of America, at all—you will sign this petition.

Or you will petition the President yourself—for the first time.

Otherwise, you don’t love America—no matter how much you say you do.

And you know what the old slogan says to do if you don’t love America.

If you love America—prove it.
