ITEMS MY FATHER PROMISED TO ME

Items Dad promised me

Elaine, Jeff, Cathy, and Tom,

I understand that all four of you have been going to the house in Mobile, and taking whatever you want, for your personal use, since Dad’s death on December 22, 2017.

The following are items that Dad promised to me:

The 16-gauge, double-barrel shotgun that belonged to Grandpa Mayo, and that I killed my first deer with.

The World-War-II-era Japanese sword that hangs in the garage, and that Uncle Lloyd gave, or left, to Dad.

The Nineteenth-century musket that hangs above the fireplace.

The 1911 Lemon-squeezer pistol that belonged to Grandma McCurdy.

All of Dad’s hand tools, woodworking machines, and other workshop equipment in the garage—especially that which belonged to Mr. Vogel.

The pendulum clock that was given to an uncle of Dad’s, on the event of his retirement (a vintage or antique clock in a glass case).

All of the remaining stereo equipment and recorded music in the den—especially the stereo receiver.

All of Dad’s medals and other awards bestowed upon him for his service in the U.S. Air Force in Korea, and during the time of the Korean War, and its immediate aftermath.

The only one of these items I need immediately is the stereo receiver—my stereo receiver ceased to function, many months ago.

But none of you are to take any of the above listed items for your personal use.

None of you are to give any of the above listed items to anyone other than me.

And none of you are to sell any of the above listed items—to anyone.

If you sell the house (i.e. if you refuse to let me move into the house in Mobile, and sell this house instead), you are to give me all of the above listed items immediately—or keep them in storage until Mom dies.

Unfortunately, my father left all of his possessions to my mother, and my mother did not know what he promised me—this left the door wide open for my sisters and brothers-in-law to take whatever they wanted.

My mother has informed me that she has all of my father’s medals and other awards—which is certainly fitting. I hope she leaves those for me.

My mother has also informed me that my father gave away all of his guns—including the 16-gauge, double-barrel shotgun and the Nineteenth century musket—but she does not know who he gave them to.

And my mother has informed me that the 1911 Lemon-squeezer pistol was broken—and she does not know if my father gave that away, or simply discarded it.

I am convinced that my sisters and brothers-in-law have taken these three antique firearms home for their own personal use, or sold them—or that my father gave all three of these antique firearms to them, before he died.

Regarding, “(i.e. if you refuse to let me move into the house in Mobile, and sell this house instead),” this house has never been my house.

Not long after I moved here, my father put this house into a trust, so he could get a homestead exemption on his taxes.

But my parents were the trustees—and to my knowledge, my mother is still the trustee.

This is why I cannot sell this house—I don’t even have the deed to it.

The trustee or trustees of this house cannot evict me from this house.

But if the trustee or trustees of this house revokes or revoke the trust on this house, he, she, or they can evict me from this house.

My mother has told me, in the past, that when she and my father die, my sisters will be the trustees of this house—that I will never own this house.

When my mother dies, my sisters and brothers-in-law will probably be the trustees of this house, and they will probably revoke the trust—so that they can evict me, and sell this house.

This is why my sisters and brothers-in-law did what they did on April 10, 2016—why they intentionally led my father to believe that I kept a blog whose sole purpose was to expose, embarrass, and humiliate my family before the entire world.

They wanted to turn my father and mother against me for the rest of their lives, persuade my father and mother to give them all of their possessions—including this house—and leave me with nothing.

Since at least April 10, 2016, my sisters and brothers-in-law have been driven by nothing but wrath and greed.

They are truly not the loving sisters and brothers-in-law I had before 2016—they are truly not themselves.

They are truly evil—as if possessed by Satan himself.
