Every time I turn around, someone else kicks me when I’m down.

Subject: Fwd: UNBLOCK YOUR PHONE, OR FACE A LAWSUIT.

Jeff Spiller called me, early Saturday morning, and acknowledged that he had unblocked his phone from me, for now—but would block it again, whenever he felt like it.

I told Jeff Spiller that, as long as he kept his phone unblocked, he was off the hook—that I wouldn’t pursue legal action against him.
I also stated that I had changed my mind about pursuing legal action against him, as well as you, if you kept your phone blocked—that if you (Christ United Methodist Church) kept your phone blocked, I would only pursue legal action against you.
Jeff Spiller also told me it was not his suggestion that you block your phone—that that was your idea, entirely.
He also told me this (to the best of my recollection):
When you asked Jeff Spiller, once again, to unblock his phone from my phone number, he refused, once again.
And he said you ASSUMED that, because he was so adamant about keeping his phone blocked from me, this time, he had a very good reason to keep it blocked.
Then he said that—because you ASSUMED he had a very good reason to keep his phone blocked from me, this time—you ASSUMED that you needed to block your phone, (251) 342-0462, from my phone number, right away—without even returning any of my calls, first, and simply speaking with me, as I had asked you do, in countless messages.
Did Jeff Spiller state that accurately?
Do I remember what Jeff Spiller stated accurately?
Am I to understand that the only reason you blocked the main church phone from one of your parishioners’ phone numbers is that you flippantly made two blind ASSUMPTIONS?
You have probably heard, or read, the little joke about the word, “assume.”
ASSUME
ASS-U-ME
ASS OF U AND ME
MAKE AN ASS OF YOU AND ME
Jeff Spiller had blocked his phone from me again, for no legitimate reason, whatsoever—as always.
He kept it blocked for many weeks—possibly even months.
In countless voicemail messages, I requested that someone in the administration of Christ United Methodist Church contact Jeff Spiller, once again, and ask him to unblock his phone, once again—and, if Jeff Spiller still refused to unblock his phone, to please call me, and let me know that, and let me know what more could be done about this situation, if anything.
You contacted Jeff Spiller, once again, and asked him to unblock his phone, once again—and Jeff Spiller still refused to unblock his phone.
But instead of calling me, and letting me know that—and letting me know what more could be done about this situation, if anything—you blocked your phone from my phone number too (I am somehow reminded of Luke 11 : 11-13, and especially Matthew 7 : 9-12).
So, instead of making a bad situation better, you made a bad situation worse.
Every time I turn around, someone else kicks me when I’m down—and you’re the latest “someone else” to kick me when I’m down.
All because you ASSUMED that Jeff Spiller had a very good reason to keep his phone blocked from me, this time—and you ASSUMED that you needed to block your phone, (251) 342-0462, from my phone number, right away—without even returning any of my calls, first, and simply speaking with me, as I had asked you do, in countless messages?
All because you flippantly made two blind ASSUMPTIONS?
You made an ass of u and me—but much more of u, than of me.
You made an ass of you and me—but much more of you, than of me.
