A DIFFERENT APPROACH

Subject: FROM SCOTT MAYO, RE TWO ONLINE PETITIONS I HAVE STARTED

I appreciate your time and consideration, in reading this email.

For a long time now, I’ve been very concerned about the direction our country, the United States, is taking.

Since 2012, I’ve been especially concerned about the destructive impact that unrestrained Digital-Age technology—particularly cellular technology (cellphones and smartphones) and social media (Facebook, Twitter, et al)—is having on our country.

And since June 22, 2015, I’ve been especially concerned about an ongoing trend of state and local politicians censoring their constituents’ historical flags, and destroying their constituents’ historical monuments—without their constituents’ consent.  This posthumous extermination of the Confederate States of America is destructive to the United States of America—and I have been doing all I can to bring awareness to it, and to elicit the help of my fellow Southern Americans, my fellow Americans, and my fellow human beings worldwide, in stopping this destructive trend.

I have started two petitions on the website, Change.org, on which I would appreciate your adding your signature to mine.

The first is to President Trump, requesting that he remove Nikki Haley from his presidential cabinet—because Nikki Haley is the initial perpetrator of this posthumous extermination of the Confederate States of America, and because Nikki Haley is being rewarded for her exploitation of a mass murder.

The second is to Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward and the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners to return the First Confederate Flag to its rightful place in Pensacola’s Five-Flags Displays—the historical flags displays of the five nations under which Pensacola, Florida, has lived and thrived.  These local politicians have censored the First Confederate Flag from our historical flags displays since June 24, 2015—without our consent.  They have not even let us vote on this.

Our country, the United States of America, is in serious danger of self-destruction.  The sociopolitical chaos our country is experiencing in this Digital Age is unprecedented in its history.  And this sociopolitical chaos—driven by unrestrained Digital-Age technology—is spreading all over our world.

Most of us seem to be pretending that everything is fine—as if our country’s problems will simply go away if we ignore them.  But this is never the case—no country’s problems simply go away, as if by magic.

Many of us are quite aware of the danger posed to our country, but feel so powerless to do anything about it that we just give up—we just do nothing, and look forward to our deaths, or to a Biblical event that will require no action on our part.

Of course, neither of these approaches is ever effective.

We can turn our country—and our world—around.  But we can only do this together—and with small, incremental actions.

And signing online petitions is a way of taking small, incremental actions together.

Please click on the links below, and—unless either of these petitions is against everything you believe in—add your signature to these online petitions.  Your signature will be greatly appreciated—perhaps more than you know.

Again, thank you so much for your time and consideration.

ONLY YOU CAN STOP “STANDING WITH ISRAEL,” AND START STANDING FOR AMERICA INSTEAD

Zionism is Jewish nationalism.

When you “stand with Israel,” you support Jewish nationalism.

Do you remember how you felt when watching news footage of the tragedy that occurred in Charlottesville, Virginia last year?

That tragedy was not caused by White nationalists, that tragedy was caused by Mike Signer, the White Democratic mayor of Charlottesville, and Wes Bellamy, the Black Democratic vice mayor of Charlottesville—and ultimately by the Dishonorable Nikki R. Haley.

And President Trump was not lying when he said there were some very fine people there defending their historical monument against two local despots—there were.

But there were allegedly some White nationalists there too—and do you remember how you felt about those alleged White nationalists?

My mother once said the Nazi Germans were selfish—and that was true, to some extent.

The Nazi (National Socialist) Party of Germany combined socialism with German nationalism.

The Nazi Germans were selfish, in the sense that all that mattered to them was Germany.

But the Nazi Germans’ ideology and agenda were borrowed from Zionist Jews in Germany.

And it was Zionism—Jewish nationalism—that contributed, at least in part, to the rise of German nationalism, in the first place.

Zionist Jews are selfish too.

Zionist Jews only care about Jewry—the Jewish population of the world.

Understand—Zionism has nothing to do with the Jewish religion of Judaism.

Zionism has everything to do with Jews, as an ancestral group—most Zionist Jews are irreligious, and many of them are antireligious.

Most Zionist Jews are not practitioners of the Jewish faith—they are secular humanists, many of whom proudly consider themselves atheists.

Nationalism is not necessarily a negative ideal—in fact, it is always understandable, and it is sometimes arguably necessary.

There are White nationalists in the United States today, and there are Black nationalists in the United States today—and both groups have valid concerns.

The German nationalists had valid concerns too—and so did the Jewish nationalists.

As a citizen of the United States, you would probably not mind if White nationalists had their own nation somewhere else.

As a citizen of the United States, you would probably not mind if Black nationalists had their own nation somewhere else.

But what if your government established and supported a White-nationalist nation somewhere else—with your money?

What if your government established and supported a Black-nationalist nation somewhere else—with your money?

You wouldn’t like that a bit, would you?

Well, your government established a Jewish-nationalist state somewhere else, in 1948—with your money.

And your government supports this Jewish-nationalist state somewhere else today—with your money.

When you “stand with Israel,” you support your government’s support of a Jewish-nationalist state—with your money, but without your understanding of what you are supporting.

When you “stand with Israel,” you support your government’s support of a Zionist state—with your money, but without your understanding of what you are supporting.

Every year, your United States government donates billions of your tax dollars to support a foreign government that was illegally established, in the first place.

Every year, your United States government spends billions more of your tax dollars on weapons to maintain this foreign government’s brutal occupation of a land that never belonged to it—a brutal subjugation, and even genocide, of the indigenous people of Palestine, by Jews of Eastern European and Turkish descent—not Palestinian descent.

That’s right, just as the Israel of today is not the Israel of Biblical times, the Israelis are not the Israelites.

Almost two thousand years ago, most Jews in the Holy Land left the Holy Land.  And they left it because of persecution by Romans—not Arabs.

These Jews migrated to Turkey and Eastern Europe—where they interbred with Turkish and Eastern European Gentiles for so many centuries that they were barely Jewish, in the end.

But almost two thousand years later, in the late Nineteenth century, an Ashkenazi (Eastern European) Jew in Germany, by the name of Theodor Herzl, started a Jewish-nationalist movement—the Zionist movement.

The Jewish nationalists—Zionists—decided to establish a purely Jewish state in Palestine.

It didn’t matter to these Jewish nationalists that the land of Palestine—the Holy Land—had been populated primarily by Christian and Muslim Arabs for over 1300 years—since most of the original Jews had left that land almost two thousand years before.

And these Jewish nationalists—wealthy, powerful Jews, not poor Jews in ghettos—forced the hands of a majority of United Nations member states to forcibly establish their Zionist State, their Modern State of Israel, in Palestine in 1948.

And your country, the United States of America, was this Zionist State’s primary supporter then—and is still this Zionist State’s primary supporter now.

Every year, billions of your tax dollars—that could be used to help the American people—are diverted to the Jewish State of Israel, to hurt the Palestinian people instead.

And only you can stop your government from placing the demands of the Israeli government above the needs of the American people.

Only you can stop “standing with Israel,” and start standing for America instead.

Liberals are ignorant.

Yet neocon politicians exploit the ignorance of liberals—thereby perpetuating the ignorance of liberals.

And liberal politicians exploit the ignorance of liberals—thereby perpetuating the ignorance of liberals.

Neocons are ignorant.

Yet neocon politicians exploit the ignorance of neocons—thereby perpetuating the ignorance of neocons.

And liberal politicians exploit the ignorance of neocons—thereby perpetuating the ignorance of neocons.

All Republican public officials today, elected and appointed, are politicians.

And all Republican politicians today, elected and appointed, are neocon politicians.

All Democratic public officials today, elected and appointed, are politicians.

And all Democratic politicians today, elected and appointed, are liberal politicians.

The Republican Party has been completely overtaken by neocons since June 22, 2015.

The Democratic Party has been completely overtaken by liberals since November 22, 1963.

Neocon politicians misrepresent themselves as conservatives.

Liberal politicians misrepresent themselves as progressives.

Though there is a difference between conservatives and progressives—so that a person can be a conservative progressive, or a progressive conservative—there is no difference between neocons and liberals.

A person cannot be a neocon liberal or a liberal neocon—because neocons and liberals are the same.

Neocons are ignorant.

Yet neocon politicians exploit the ignorance of neocons—thereby perpetuating the ignorance of neocons.

And liberal politicians exploit the ignorance of neocons—thereby perpetuating the ignorance of neocons.

Liberals are ignorant.

Yet neocon politicians exploit the ignorance of liberals—thereby perpetuating the ignorance of liberals.

And liberal politicians exploit the ignorance of liberals—thereby perpetuating the ignorance of liberals.

The Democratic Party has been completely overtaken by liberals since November 22, 1963—and there is not likely any hope that the Democratic Party can be reformed.

Therefore, all Democratic voters best abandon the Democratic Party.

The Republican Party has been completely overtaken by neocons since June 22, 2015—and there is not likely any hope that the Republican Party can be reformed.

Therefore, all Republican voters best abandon the Republican Party.

This post goes all over the place because my mind does, at this moment.

But if there is a point I would like to be taken from this post, it is this:

Neoconservatism and liberalism are the same.  Neocon politicians and liberal politicians are the same.  Neocons and liberals are ignorant—and neocon and liberal politicians exploit the ignorance of neocons and liberals. Thus neoconservatism and liberalism best be avoided—by all of us.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONFEDERATE MEMORIAL MONUMENTS, FROM SOMEONE WHO IS NOT A POLITICIAN

Mitch Landrieu is nothing but a pandering, self-serving, sociopathic liar.

Here is the truth about Confederate memorial monuments, from someone who is not a politician:

The Reconstruction was nothing of the sort.  It was a brutal occupation of the vanquished Confederate States of America, in which all citizens of the vanquished Confederate States of America—of all races and ethnicities—were denied their constitutional rights for twelve years.

From 1865 to 1877, Southern women were raped, Southern men were murdered, and Southern families were displaced—on a constant basis—by Union troops and Union League terrorists.

Over 50,000 Southern civilians, of all races and ethnicities, died of exposure and starvation during the Civil War, and the Reconstruction—the Union occupation which followed the Civil War.

Needless to say, one of the constitutional rights which the Southern American people were denied during the Reconstruction was their First-Amendment right to freedom of speech.

Because the United States won the war, Union citizens were immediately able to build memorial monuments to their war dead—and had enough money to do so.

But the citizens of the vanquished Confederate States of America were prohibited from building memorial monuments to their war dead, for twelve years, because they were denied their First-Amendment right to freedom of speech for twelve years.

Citizens of the vanquished Confederate States of America were only able to build monuments to their war dead after the Reconstruction ended in 1877.

Yet even then, they had to raise the money to build them—and this took decades.

This is why the overwhelming majority of Confederate memorial monuments were built in the late Nineteenth century and early Twentieth century.

And they were not built to pretend that the South had actually won the war, or to intimidate Black Southerners—many Black Southerners attended the ceremonies at which these memorial monuments to the Confederate war dead were presented.  Because the Confederate war dead included many Black Confederate soldiers and sailors who had proudly served the Confederate States of America, of their own free will.

The monuments were not Confederate-era monuments—because they were built after the United States of America defeated the Confederate States of America, and after the brutal Union occupation of the vanquished Confederate States of America finally ended.

When Mitch Landrieu says he will replace the statue of Confederate President Jefferson Davis with an American flag—he knows very well that a flag of the Confederate States of America is just as much an American flag as a flag of the United States of America.

The posthumous extermination of the Confederate States of America is destructive to the United States of America—and Mitch Landrieu knows this.

New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu did not call for the removal of four Confederate memorial monuments until June 24, 2015—the same day that Alabama Governor Robert Bentley censored all Confederate flags from Confederate memorial monuments on the grounds of the Alabama State Capitol, and the same day that Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward censored the First Confederate Flag from Pensacola’s historical flags displays.

And on June 22, 2015, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley called for the censorship of a Confederate battle flag from a Confederate memorial monument on the grounds of the South Carolina State Capitol—in a speech in which she blamed a mass murder committed in Charleston, South Carolina, on a historical American flag in Columbia, South Carolina.

The overwhelming majority of the state and local politicians who are censoring their constituents’ historical flags and monuments, without their constituents’ consent, are actually Republicans—following the lead of Republican Nikki Haley.

And Democrats like Mitch Landrieu are simply riding this Republican bandwagon for the same reason Republican Nikki Haley got the bandwagon rolling, in the first place—it gives them a shot at the House of Representatives, the Senate, and even the Presidency.

The dismantled Confederate memorial monuments in New Orleans must be restored, if possible.  And if this is not possible, they must be left in exactly the same state that Mitch Landrieu has left them, as a warning—to all people—of the politicians and their lies.

RETURN OUR FIRST CONFEDERATE FLAG TO OUR FIVE FLAGS DISPLAYS—NOW

Escambia County Commissioner Doug Underhill,

You are nothing but a hypocrite in writing this:

“Good morning to all you marchers.  You are wrong.  My gun is not your problem, and my rights are not your business.  Your fears and your hate are a very real danger to our Constitution.  You are literally spending your Saturday demanding the government take away your rights.  Pathetic.”

On June 25, 2015, you gave in to this demand made by Escambia County Democratic Women’s Club President Dianne Krumel:

“I understand the flags are down, but I want to make it permanent.  I don’t want any chance of those flags going back up.”

You could have done the conservative thing, and voted to return the First Confederate Flag to its rightful place in our Five Flags Displays.

But you did the neocon thing, instead—just as Grover C. Robinson IV, Steven Barry, Wilson Robertson, and Lumon May did.  You bowed to the demands of that one wannabe politician.

And you can bet that same wannabe politician was proudly exploiting those schoolchildren on March 24.  After all, you did nothing but encourage her.

You have no right to post about your rights.  Because you violated our First Amendment right to freedom of speech on June 25, 2015—along with Grover C. Robinson IV, Steven Barry, Wilson Robertson, Lumon May, and especially Ashton Hayward.

I live just down the street from the Five Flags display in front of the Osceola Municipal Golf Course—and every time I leave my residence, I am reminded of your censorship of our First Confederate Flag, and every time I return to my residence, I am reminded of your censorship of our First Confederate Flag.  And I am tired of seeing this blatant violation of our First Amendment right to freedom of speech.

Commissioner Underhill, you are despised in this county—along with Grover C. Robinson IV, Steven Barry, Wilson Robertson, Jeff Bergosh, Lumon May, and Ashton Hayward.

Yet you now lead the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, so you have more authority than ever before, to do the right thing.  You have more authority than ever before, to return our First Confederate Flag to our Five Flags Displays.

You chose to keep our First Confederate Flag censored from our Five Flags Displays, without our consent—without even letting us Escambia County residents vote on it.

Our Five Flags Displays do not belong to you.  They belong to all of us Escambia County residents, of all races and ethnicities.  Our First Confederate Flag did not belong to you either.  It belonged to all of us Escambia County residents, of all races and ethnicities.  And you had no right to censor our First Confederate Flag from our Five Flags Displays, without our consent—any more than Grover C. Robinson IV, Steven Barry, Wilson Robertson, Lumon May, or Ashton Hayward did.  You have no right to keep our First Confederate Flag censored from our Five Flags Displays, without our consent—any more than Grover C. Robinson IV, Steven Barry, Jeff Bergosh, Lumon May, or Ashton Hayward does.

Commissioner Underhill, you are a pandering, self-serving, sociopathic liar—just as Grover C. Robinson IV is, Steven Barry is, Wilson Robertson is, Jeff Bergosh is, Lumon May is, Ashton Hayward is, Malcolm Thomas is, David Morgan is, Mitch Landrieu is, LaToya Cantrell is, Marco Rubio is, Matt Gaetz is, Robert Bentley is, Kay Ivey is, Rick Scott is, Mike Signer is, Wes Bellamy is, Bob Corker is, Jerry Brown is, Chuck Schumer is, Maxine Waters is, Ajit Pai is, Donald Trump is, Hillary Clinton is, and especially that diabolical Nimrata Randhawa Haley is.

But you choose to be a pandering, self-serving, sociopathic liar—and you can choose not to be a pandering, self-serving, sociopathic liar.

You can return our First Confederate Flag to our Five Flags Displays—now.
